Sounds like he's about to be dealt. There seems to be several teams interested, but a couple are: Texas, Washington, Detroit, Toronto, Baltimore, and Boston. Texas, Washington, and Boston seem to be the front runners right now with Texas probably slightly ahead of Washington and Boston. Who knows though, everything can change with one phone call.

Guy could be a big get for someone at the trade deadline. He's been dealing the last month or so: 5-0, 1.24 ERA, 1.00 Whip, 8Ks/9.

And this is why the Cubs continue to live at the bottom of the NL Central. Another potential trade many fans will be scratching their head over. I know he'll be a free agent this year... but the Cubs can't keep anyone in their rotation long enough to do anything.

It's their best move right now. He's probably gone in 6 months, might as well try to find a young arm you like. I would imagine Kevin Gregg will be dealt as well.

Isn't Philly a buyer this year too? I would think they would try and acquire him also

Yeah man, a team that's at LEAST 2 years away from contention trading a 30 year old pitcher with a history of injury problems AND has 6 months left on his contract for, say, Mike Olt is such a dumb move.
