Good thing Appalachia is drug free and it’s population not overrun with opioid addiction.

Not at all. Few people can separate the show from his political aspirations.

Honestly as long as he keeps the show about sports and other stupid stuff and leaves the politics out of it I love the show. However when he starts in on politics (rarely) that's when he loses me and I turn on Barstool.

I listen everyday. And I agree he rarely talks about his own politics. it's called a sports show but it more current events show with an emphasis on uk sports. Best of both worlds to me

If Matt cannot even win the vote of some of the most hardcore UK fans, he definitely isn't going to win KY. Not even close. And he isnt going to motivate the giant democratic population of Louisville and UofL fans to get out and vote (no people shouldnt base a vote off of sports teams, but some people absolutely will). Everyone gets their hopes up for a McConnell upset, but last time, he won by a much higher amount than the terms before. KY is becoming increasingly more Republican and voter registration this past month alone has continued that trend heavily.

Whether you like McConnell or not, he isn't going to be beaten anytime soon.
