Maybe.. but k loves him...and if Bolden leaves and we whiff on stewart I think we have a good shot..that would leave us with
1. Boogie/goldwire
2. .moore/aoc
3. White/Baker
4. Hurt/jrob
5. Vern/javin

I'm assuming tre is 1 and done and k has no history with grad transfers. As for reclassification I see rj Hampton as a option but duke has cooled on him for reasons unknown

You’re probably right. We all know he’s judging whether he comes or not on this one game. Cross your fingers!!!!!
Probably won't help a recruit to watch a coach, his staff, and team under some adversity and see how they handle it. I rather see how a team acts in person when everything is perfect...

We really need a true PG because Boogie isn’t a pure PG and is much better at SG. Also, Moore is more of a SF vs SG.

Along with location, campus, facilities, teammates and coaches, I would think a recruit would be interested in how a team, coaches and crowd handle adversity. I think Duke will do quite well on all counts.

Remember when we played Kansas in the Champions Classic in 2013? Tyus and Oak were down to us and Kansas. Some people thought whoever won that game would win the services of both recruits. lulz.

Where’s the dude that said he wasn’t coming to Duke since we were gonna lose?

Anybody notice he was rocking an Adidas hoodie behind the bench? Kinda surprising to me. And some think Kansas is the favorite. Ironic?

Maybe it’s what he packed and he wanted to be comfortable or maybe his mom packed it and didn’t know any difference.

Or wait a minute maybe maybe bill self cane over and stuffed it in his bag

The Hurt’s have approached this whole process as a business decision. They rarely give away anything.

Nope. Self’s check bounced. Spent too much on Roger Ayers last year. Zion is transferring to KY and RJ is gonna be the 6th man at UNC.

I don’t think RJ is going to have enough time to learn UNC’s intricate offense to step in and be the 6th man. That’s a role held solidly by the #3 ranked recruit in the country. I mean, he’s three months ahead of RJ.

I think he’ll have time to learn their intricate system given Guru Gary has an archive of their system for RJ to read and RJ won’t have any classes he has to attend or study for during the week.

I’m not sure RJ is dumb enough to read that.

How good is Hurt against elite competition? He seems really skilled, but rail thin. Some people are strong, even when super skinny, and some people get knocked over by the wind. I just didn’t really think of him as an option, until now. Has anyone ever watch him play?

There are a couple things I don't really like about Hurt, but his game ain't one of them. He's got a REALLY nice 3 ball, takes it from way up high, wrist flick type shot, hard to block and high arcs to really pop the twine. He's pretty dialed in there. He also has some pretty nice footwork in the paint, makes some pretty cuts to the basket and he's a pretty good shot blocker.

Have not watched him play but as a stretch 4 he could even slide over at the 3 if Duke
goes to big lineup. Coaches should send him a tape of the N.C. State game in Raleigh in 2002 when Dunleavy went off in the first half. Scored 15 straight points as Duke finished half on 22-3 run. He scored 22 Pts w 7 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals in the half. He was shooting from Taylor King’s range. Ferry, Singler, Dunleavy ,Kelly and then the Big Hurt. Would love to see him at Duke next year.
