Someone that knows Matthew told me that he called Mullen yesterday and committed. He also said he didn't want this released to the media or announced. I don't know why. From what I hear Wells tells MSU people we are #1 and Ole Miss people they are #1. So I am not so sure I believe on this but I hope it is true.

Heard from some folks in Lawrence County who are close to him that we have been number 1 for a while, and they would be shocked if he didnt end up at State. I think he lost interests in UM, and vice versa.

Yea, if Yancy is all but conceding him, then that means there is maybe a 5% chance at best that we sign him.

I watched his video, and I'll say that even if he doesn't work out at tailback, I could see him being a pretty good OLB.

I know it's just a highlight tape, so you can't get too much, but he showed some really good closing speed on his defensive highlights.
