Melendez too. Definitely waaay better than his older brothers Eric and Lyle.
Nothing better than a player like him knowing exactly what his game is & role is. It's beautiful
Modern era....smoke, Greg Carter, z, varnardo, and cam for me to watch play.
Cam will be a key player on 3 consecutive NCAA tournament teams. There is a very short list of MSU basketball players that are in that category.
I’ve seen something this year with the team that I have seen in a long time at state. A high basketball iq. Great at cutting and looking for the pass. Being in the right spot and great defensive instincts (especially Melendez).

He's enjoyable to watch. Max effort. This team has still not put it all together yet. When they do, will be a "dangerous tourney team"
Cam needs to sue and challenge the eligibility rules. Someone will do it eventually. We can pay him what he would make overseas, just keep him here for the next 10 years.
Cannot believe the people that want to release these guys. They planned the murder of their parents. Bought the shotgun They shot them in the face. Returned to kill their mother. Picked up the shotgun shells. Went on a spending spree. These are all facts in the case.

For about a dozen years, we hoped to find our next Branden Vincent. Cam is that plus so much more. I look forward to hoping some incoming freshman or transfer I've never heard of can be "our next Cam Matthews."
As good as he’s always been with the defending & the “dirty work” the thing that’s really impressed me is his improvement in ball handing in the open court & bringing the ball from backcourt to front court & passing. He’s been great this year. I’m no expert but I could see him having a pretty good NBA career as a role player.
Too bad Howland was asleep during the games and didn't play him more !!!
I was talking about the older Robert Woodard! They had a hustle award named for him for many years at the awards banquet after each season.
