of the Templeton error was his switching from Nike to Russell. In the grand scheme high grade stuff from Nike is much better than any other brand, but its not just that. The marketing that teams that are with Nike receive is off the charts compared to Russell in particular, and even Adidas. I wish we'd switch back, but I'm sure we are locked in with Adidas now for at least 10 years.
