This is NOT Mrob.
The question was: Do you support Croom?
<div class="messagebody"> Yes, based on my reasoning, (and I'm sure the dissenters are just waiting to pile on me) this program at the end of '03 season was in the worst possible shape, condition, existence, and absolutely dead in the water that I had ever witnessed. In my opinion the death sentence of SMU was a far better situation than what MSU fans have had to endure ....My initial thoughts when CC took this job was that it would take 7 - 10 yrs to overcome the mess that had been created and that it was better to clean house and start from scratch and keep the football program alive and go thru the process of rebuilding the program under the leadership of CC.. Have I had my doubts during this process??? you bet I have and I would be lying to anyone if I had stated otherwise...but most of my doubt was would good assistants stay the course or bolt for a better situation, jobs, and/or opportunities...and would quality HS prospects still serioulsy consider MSU, would HS coaches still look at the MSU program with a newfound respect for the leadership and what CC was attempting to build at MSU, but most important would the athletic administration, Big Boosters, and the average fan like me continue to support the mission at hand with CC leading... I certainly hope so. As far as my initial time-line of 7 - 10 yrs. I thought just prior to the end of spring practice last yr that CC and staff was ahead of schedule...but after the GUN issue with the five players being dismissed, I am still leaning to years 7 or 8 to begin winning consistently.
Laugh and discuss. </div>
