Switched about 3 or 4 months ago. The DVR will record 4 shows at once and you can play them back on any TV in the house. The internet speeds are great and reliable. I don't have the telephone package so I couldn't tell you anything about that. Also you don't have to worry about losing the signal in bad weather.

Consumer Reports rates fiber optic cable/Internet way above either cable or satellite. And the prices are very competitive. Unfortunately, apparently not available at my address yet. But I've signed up to be notified when it does become available.

They cost about $7 a month, except for the HD ones which are (I think) $15 a month. Not a big deal if you have 2 TVs.... But, for some reason, we have 6 in our house and it adds up. I seem to remember the HD quality being better on Comcast. But, u-verse is a much, much more sophisticated product. I have a iPhone app that can control my DVR and you can do it online, too. Also, you have to have a grounded outlet to plug the main router/ups into,or they will not set you up. Probably not a big deal to many, unless you have an older house like mine. I have the highest TV package, the next-to-lowest Internet package and the phone service. It is roughly the same price as I had with Comcast with hardly any channels.
