Auburn fans and LSU fans talk about their QB’s holding on to the ball too long and not seeing open receivers, but has anyone gone back and looked at the OT 4th down play?
BS is staring down his two receivers on the right side and then he waits way too late to throw it to an what was an open WR (3) breaking underneath and in the middle of the field in the EZ and we also had a RB (24) run outside of LT and was wide open about the 1-2 yard line right as the WR was crossing into the EZ.
I haven’t seen Matt’s breakdown yet and I haven’t re-watched the entire game but it does seem to me that Shapen holds onto the ball a little too long and our OL is not quite good enough to pass block for 4-5 seconds.
I know UT gifted us some great opportunities as we did them but we were really only one offensive play and or just one made 42 yd FG from winning that game.
