Hey guys, I'm a Tennessee fan, but I just looked at your basketball schedule and I am baffled.<div>
</div><div>Why are you playing 5 straight days, and why on earth is the last one an exhibition game?</div><div>
</div><div>I have literally never seen a major program put a schedule like that together, so I created a account here for no other reason than to ask.</div><div>

I think we tried to accomodate the schedule in order to get him on the court.. atleast what I thought... maybe someone can give you a better reasoning.

First we had issues finding games to begin with..secondly the game Tuesday will be the last of Renardo Sidney's 44 game suspension and the exhibition on Wednesday will serve as a tune up for "da difference". Getting him eligible quicker.

we have a 9 game suspension for sidney that began when the season started. we also have a 9 game suspension for bost that began when he became academically eligible (last friday, i think). so we're trying to squeeze a bunch of games in a small window, so we can have bost back for the first SEC game. the exhibition is for sidney to get back in shape (or something like that...)

Renardo Sidney is suspended for the 1st 9 games of the season, and Dee Bost was ineligible for the fall semester, then suspended for 9 games. We wanted to get Sidney in 1 game before playing VA Tech in the Bahamas and then a tournament in Hawaii, but also wanted to get Dee Bost back in time for the start of SEC play. So we didn't play a lot of games during the semester, then had to squeeze 5 games in 5 days to get Sidney in 1 game before the VA Tech game.
