I never got why they hired Sherman. I think A&M is going through what Texas went through before Mack Brown got there.

as any school in America. Hell, they made Jackie Sherrill the first ever million dollar coach long before the best coaches made close to that kind of scratch. Why they hired a mediocre NFL coach is beyond me. Seems like they could get a proven head college coach if they wanted to.

and Weiss was suppose to be a genius. Lets not even talk about that Mississippi State hire a few years back....

calling Wanstadt a "mediocre" NFL coach would be a huge compliment to him. Sherman was actually a pretty good NFL coach (57-39 career record despite that poor last season). And he's only 3 games into his career at A&M. Even Carroll started 2-5 in his first season at Southern Cal. I just think it's too early to call him a bust as a college coach.
