Per CBS Sportsline: the Bears are leading for landing the NC State QB who is tranferinng under the Masoli idea. Corch Steinbrenner is spending more free agent money.

Why would any high school QB even take a phone call from this guy?

They are already having to greyshirt 2 kids in Collins Moore and All world QB Mikhail Miller. Unless they have convinced a third signee to delay enrollment on the hopes that Russell Wilson chooses to come to OM ( dumb on their part and the signee's), then I highly doubt Wilson makes it to Oxford.

I saw saw the story on CBS Sportsline a few days ago (hence my Germans reference). They have an updated story that the QB is playing A level minor league baseball, but I couldn't find the story with the schools he is considering (its likely in their archives but I don't know how to access thier archived stories).The story didn't quoteCoach Steinbrenner, itjust listed the schools to QB is looking at and Umiss was the first one listed.</p>
