<span>Madison Ridgeland Academy is proud to announce
the hiring of Forrest Williams as the school’s next head football coach.
Williams, 33, comes to MRA after serving as the head football coach at
St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, MS from <span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show">2008-2011. He had prior stints as an assistant at Connally High School in Austin, TX and Bosqueville High School in Waco, TX.
Williams,
a 10-year coaching veteran, has 4 years of experience as a head coach,
where he has successfully led ‘high-octane’ offenses. While at St.
Stanislaus, he compiled a record of 31-8 and captured the 2009 MHSAA-4A
state championship. His 2009 team featured the nation’s #2 offense as
well as Mississippi’s #1 offense, averaging over 500 yards per game and
scoring 41.6 points per game.
Williams, a native of West Point,
MS played collegiately at Mississippi State University from 1997-2000.
He was a member of the 1998 SEC Western Division Championship Team, was
named to the All-SEC Academic Team three times, and was selected the
Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1999.</span></span>
