but if this team ends up 11-5 with a win in Tampa, and that 11-5 includes 6-0 against the East. I see no way that Slive leaves us out as the second place team in the entire conference.

LSU > everyone else in the SEC
MState > everyone in the East.

not thinking 11-5 +1 will get us in. It will. That's just being a realist. Especially considering there's a decent chance 11-5 would put us 6-0 against the East with a sweep of the other SEC bubble teams.

it'll help if we can finish 2 games above at least 2 of the top 4 east teams, especially kentucky. if we can jump a couple games ahead of florida and kentucky i think we make it. we'd probably need to win one in the tournament.

I bet we draw Arkansas in our first game. We'll get the bye against the E3/W6 winner and I have a feeling Arkansas will have one in them come Tampa, because whoever the E3 is (right now there's a four way tie for the East) will be squarely on the bubble.

As near as I can tell, right now that matchup would be Arkansas-Kentucky. Those four teams are 7-4. UT is 2-1 against the other 3, so as of now, they are the 1. USC and UK are 2-2 against the other three, but USC beat UK, so USC is 2 and UK 3. UF is 1-3 against those teams. The Georgia loss and the USC last second layup off the missed FT are going to end up costing Florida dearly it looks like.

...they were saying Tennessee's #18 RPI is hurting us. Our record is better, but they have the RPI that the committee gets off on every year.

Frankly, I don't care. We're a mediocre team, period. We'll get what we deserve. Unless we squeak into the NCAAs barring an SEC tournament championship.
