New Flowood JCPenney's has huge MSU logo inside Lakelandentrance

When you walk in the entrance that faces Lakeland Dr./ HWY 25, you will see the logo to your left by the men's athletic wear and near the check out. ALSO, the department is full of MSU gear but very little Ole Miss gear. I suggested to the athletic wear supervisor, Celia, that the store needed more Ole Miss gear and a huge logo like MSU has. She said I should go to JCPenney's website and send an email. I sent an email through customer service, but don't know how far my suggestion will go. Does anyone know how we can have this M-State logo taken down, or at least get our logo on the walls. Do you think the store owners might be MSU fans??? I don't know.

why do people get upset about this stuff? Usually, the JC Penney's and WalMarts have crappy team stuff anyway, so just go to a dang game, and get your shirts and such. I live in Hattiesburg, and it honestly does not bother me when the majority of clothing is USM... Why? because it sells well in Hattiesburg, and they have to do what they have to do.

This fool is emailing their company about getting the logo taken down. That's unreal. If I walked into Best Buy at Dogwood and the Ole Miss Band was inside playing Dixie, I'd still buy something. It's also funny that the guy that started the thread was obviously shopping in JC Penny and a few posts down in the thread, Rebels are calling JC Penny shoppers, Rednecks and lower class people. I guess the guy feels like a dumb ***.

In saying all that, my point was that I'm not going to support or not support a business based on sports affiliation... USMers do that down here with Peppers, and it's almost comical, and it really just makes them look like a bunch of idiots
