and those teams were trending down. We were obviously the 2nd best team in the SEC last week. It certainly underscores why we should have had 11 SEC wins or more.
we could play them on a neutral court 5 times and we'd win 4 of them. Having said that, they were a 10 and took a 7 to double OT so I don't think you can knock them. And I don't know how our victory over them being unimpressive makes the committee right when they took the very team we beat.
Vandy is a surprise, but they happen. They happen every year to all sorts of teams.
...and the main reason for the SEC backlash. If there was a question as to who should go between us and Florida, the commissioner was given a head to head comparison in the SEC tournament. But evidently it didn't matter. Slive was taking Florida.
