Anybody know what's up with Veazey's blog? As far as I can tell he hasn't updated it today at all, which is unusual for him. I was looking for any last minute basketball tidbits.

Some jackhole is saying he was fired in the comments section. Unless he took a big fat dump on Rick Cleveland's desk, I can't imagine that is true.

I hope he sticks around. I would be looking to hire someone like him if I were Sports Editor at a larger paper.

I am surprised though that a paper can pay for the beat writers to travel so much. Although it makes me very jealous - maybe I should have thought about sports media instead of law school.
