with the 10th ranked rushing offense in the country.

That is simply unbelievable.

Obviously, much of that goes to AD. However, the improvement in o-line performance over prior years is nothing short of incredible. They had a couple bad performances (Arkansas comes to mind), but overall it seemed as though it was an entirely different unit out there this year. It's incredible what a solid scheme, good coaching, and quality strength and conditioning can do.

a solid selling point to Cam Newton as well. Also Hevesy believes that Tobias Smith is his best NFL prospect but that ankle is a real problem.

because a team like Navy is low on the pass offense because it chooses to be, but I wonder if the discrepancy between our rushing and passing offense is some sort of record. Somebody else do the research.

has been the Xs and Os of our run game. I'm no football coach, but all of our run plays have looked completely different than Croom's. Much more trickery and misdirection, even in the runs up the middle. Very few slow-developing plays. Almost all of our run plays are the option-read.

I'm no offensive genius either, but Mullen's spread rushing attack vs. the WCO that McCroomvey was trying to run are night and day. The SEC team in front of us is Florida (#6 overall), and I don't think that's a coincidence. Edit: omission

Production is clearly head and shoulders better than last year with pretty much the same offensive squad plus Bumphis.

I'm talking about this year only. I think we were 113th in passing this season.
