I remember Eddie Folger getting into a spat with Mike M. that Eddie said our MBB team would always be cyclical. Looks like he is turning out to be right.

E. Folger - low of Steve Newton to high of winning SEC regular season title then back to low
D. Odom - low to high of winning 2 NIT tourney titles then back to low
D. Horn - High of shared SEC East Title (I think he did it his first year?) then deep low
F. Martin - deep low of D. Horn to high of Final Four then back to low
L. Paris - TBD

Folger also had higher expectations of the program than we have realized. McGee got upset when Folger said the best we should expect is a NCAA tournament appearance about once every 4 years. Turns out Folger was a bit rosy in his expectations.....but with the right coach, he may be right.

Always is a longer time than any of us has to watch it.
