Not a joke, our PG is out injured and we lost. That we held down their back court scoring down was not to be expected . Honestly, Fl should have pressed earlier to exploit our guards. We are weak at the guard spot and injuries make it worse. Again, I’ll say it, Cooper and Johnson were elite players and we don’t have that this year. I’m not worried about the coaching, I think Lp is getting what he can out of this team. Needs 3 more years to build it before we talk about ditching him.

That has nothing to do with the terrible decision making. Not having guards capable of breaking the press. More turnovers than points in the final 5 minutes. Not to mention the mediocre free throw shooting.
Well........ at least we're consistent. Again, you can just about bet the farm on it in any given situation. If I had a lot of money, I'd make a lot more money betting in these situations. You can absolutely count on it. I've just never seen such a snake bitten program in the history of anything.
Hey, maybe we should all pool some $$ together like an office lotto thing and just keep doubling our money and eventually take the payout. It could go on for a long, long time.... we could each start with $20 each and walk away multi millionaires. Would only take a few seasons really.
All our gaurds are awful and not getting better. You might be right but I doubt it.
Let's throw in a few random contract extensions and absurd raises - just for good measure. At this point, why not?
Yes, we need better guard play. If Thomas was healthy we win tonight. But those of you questioning the coaching are off point . We don’t have the talent to win this year, but yet we took #2 and #5 to the wire, plus beat Clemson. The team is well coached but we are lacking at talent in the back court. Back court players win conference titles and national championships in basketball. Look it up. CMB will be gone after next year, so we will need help at guard and down low. I feel like LP will recruit and fill in with portal players. I’m willing to give him 3 more years. But if no results after that, I’ll be open to a change. He can coach. Can he bring the players? I think so, but yet to be seen
I have defended Paris and this team through everything, but this was low point bad. Our guards played like Middle Schoolers out there. Telegraphed passed everywhere. No comfort in dribbling with your off hand. No one able to make an accurate post entry pass. It's hard to blame coaching when I know these players have heard these things since at least 7th Grade. Just have to go back to the drawing board. Some of them need to show they can execute or go somewhere else.
