I respect your position but all of those protesters last night considerably weeken it. Nobody protested like this when Obama (thank GOD we are done with him) was elected. Guess what, the freebies are going away and the lawlessness is over because Trump won. Nothing you say or do will change the results. I'm curious, how many protesters actually voted? How many protesters were bussed in. It's curious that these protests were coordinated. Maybe they are just mad because some guy that posted a YouTube video.

As for being/getting rich, I busted my hump for 30 years, sold my business and I am now comfortably retired and traveling. Had a great time in Germany, Switzerland and Greece this summer. Going to the Northeast next summer to drive up the Maine coast and cover seven states in the meantime. Things are good, but make no mistake, I earned every bit of it.
However, I am very sympathetic for the people who lost their jobs and income during the last 8 years. I am very sympathetic for the small business owners I know (many) whose businesses are struggling or have closed due to ridiculous regulations and taxes. That not only affects them, but the people they have as employees and those they have had to let go. If you think for one minute it doesn't bother a business owner to let someone go because of economic conditions, then you have no idea of what happens in that world...which I suspect you don't. Many people got used in 2008 and 2012. Where is the improvement in the inner cities? Where is the promise of making so many peoples' lives better when they actually got worse?
I am still active in that community in that now that I have more time I can attend seminars. I have spoken in many of them in the western and northwestern suburbs. Trust me, I know what's going on in that world. These people come from all backgrounds. Some came from nothing financially and some can from some money and influence. They represent all races and gender. Some are college educated and some are as you say "uneducated." Those people who you say are "uneducated" are far more "educated" than people like you and far wiser. But they all have one thing in common. They want to stay in business and stay profitable and there is nothing wrong with that.
There are a lot of business owners, especially small business owners, who are very excited now. They are excited because they see a very positive change coming soon that will benefit them and in turn will benefit the people they employ and hire. And no matter what you think, it's a positive thing.
But I won't bore you with that stuff anymore as I am sure it's way over your head.
I notice every time you are losing an argument involving politics you mention that Edgy doesn't want that on the board, hoping it will go away. Actually I wish you would, but you are too much fun.
