HD6 heard this on Wednesday night Bulldawgs at the Bin from Wardlaw and then told me but we were asked to keep it quiet.

If the stubborn jackass leading our program insisted on keeping this impotent offense, he should have acted the day that Borges was let go. A lot of people in the summer/pre-season said that a 5th season of 100th ranked offense would be Crooms's downfall, and I think it should be. He needs to be let go. DO YOUR JOB BYRNE!!!!!!
that basically guarantees Croom for another year. No way Borges would agree to come unless he was going to be here next year.
I agree. I was hoping Greg would demand to have Woody replaced at seasons end and Croom would be miffed enough to take his ball and go home. Looks like we got him for another season. Oh well, looks like I will be playing Saturday golf next fall too.dawgstudent said:
that might or might not become a permanent job? From his perspective, if it works out, he's got a job for next season. If it doesn't work out, he has to look for a job for next season just like he was going to have to do anyway plus he'll get paid for 1/3 of a season, and he'll get none of the blame for our sucky offense. The man is unemployed right now. He's not exactly in a position to be too picky about which BCS conference OC job he'll take.

doubt it but even if he is it wont make a difference. It's Crooms offense and he calls the plays.
