Coach Brewer had a good run with Avery and some decent years with the Titans.

This is probably one of the top 5 most difficult jobs in NC. I wish they Titans could make a splash hire but I wonder how many will be interested.

Tough gig with the Titans being 7a. Probably be in a wonky conference. Generally just don’t have the athletes to compete. They do have a beautiful stadium though.

Decent for McDowell is getting 4-5 wins. They have the facilities but have never been able to get it going more than a year or two. Another issue for this job along with many others in the mountains will be housing. It's so devestated up there and affordable housing was already a major problem. I know the flooding in Marion was terrible. I hope they get a good local person who can do it.

I don't think a good local person exists.

Btango, he really was an incredible coach. I saw him at Avery as well. First class man. Also, I have enjoyed your national HS posts thru the years. Did you coach in Charlotte?
