...i wonder does anybody else follow suit i.e. sammy sosa and also admit to juicing? i'd have to say probably not, but mcgwire coming out is alot different than jose canseco.
It wouldnt suprise me if he never asked. There are just somethings you dont want to know and you hope the person you know does the things the way you hope they do.
if that idiot want's to destroy his body to hit HR's be my guest. I take the Cowherd stance on this one. I like the long ball.

And on top of that, if any actually believed that he didn't use steroids after he had a bottle of Andro in his locker is just naive. Or Tony LaRussa.
Heck, I'm probably the biggest Cardinals fan in Mississippi, and I thought that McGwire used steroids. And despite that, McGwire is still one of my favorites. Baseball is not a game where you can take a pill or something and be a great player. If you could, I would be playing in the Big Leagues right now. And there are probably a lot of other people like that. There is still a lot of skill that goes into playing the game and McGwire had that skill, steroids or not.

By keeping quiet, McGwire was only able to garner about 23% of the vote a year. Heck, he might have a better shot at getting voted in now that he admitted to using steroids. But that said, I stand by my prediction that he will get voted in by the Veteran's Committee.
