He admits that he considered turning pro following last season, but felt like he needed another year of college ball to develop.
Man, I sure am glad he reconsidered this decission... Looks likethere mightbe high expectations for McPhee coming from everywhere and not just the M-State family...

Edited to add: Forgot about the Chris Low links at the top...

I think his lack of big plays was a result of Torbush's system. This year, I think the aggressive style of Diaz and Wilson will really show off the talent we have in the front 7. Our speed at LB is going to be a great weapon in blitzing. Opposing OL won't have many chances to double our lineman, so they should get plenty chances to make some plays this year.

/I just hope our CBs can hold their own.

I think his lack of "big plays" was also due to Torbush's system and the fact that there wasn't really anybody else for opposing OL to worry about other than McPhee.. Therefore, he drew a double team on practically every snap.. There is going to be too much meat in that line this year for him to be drawing those double teams every play..

I think the CBs will come along fine... I'm really looking forward to seeing what Langston can get done this year.. I think he's going to be a huge surprise based on his limited play from last year.. And hopefully Broomfield will be even better in his sophomore season...
