Jesus, the estimated opening weekend numbers for Endgame worldwide is 700-900 million dollars. It will be the fastest ever to the billion mark. Just the Wednesday opening in a certain few countries made 170 million.

It’s looking like it will be the biggest grossing movie of alltime. People are seeing the movie numerous times

Proves that well-developed characters and a slow-burn storyline that's developed over the better part of a decade has a high payoff.

People are willing to wait if you give them substance.

Saw it tonight. I definitely give it a thumbs-up. There's something for everyone! It had a couple needless scenes that had me [eyeroll], and an issue with a particular loose end... but I'll give everyone else a chance to see it before typing any potential spoilers.

Yeah there’s actually a few loose ends for me. The movie definitely left questions unanswered/even added more questions.

I heard a rumor is there a post credit scene or nah?

The credits reminded me of the LOTR Return of the King credits in that it mostly just pays homage to all the actors that made the series possible and especially the ones who likely will be leaving the MCU now that the Avengers storyline is done.

Here are some of my thoughts of the movie without spoiling anything that I posted in another thread.

Did you even watch the movie? It was excellent. One of the best superhero movies of all time in my opinion. For a 3 hour movie it seemed to move along really well. A bit slow at the beginning (necessary) but after that it was almost nonstop action. My son and I saw it in 3D and I highly recommend it in that format.

We sat in the 2nd row in our reclining heated seats (love the upgrades that are out now). I don't know if being closer to the screen where you don't see much surrounding environment makes 3D that much better or if it was just phenomenally well done? Probably the best 3D movie theater experience I can recall (Dark Phoenix looked great in 3D as well in the trailer).

Marvel will have a tough time topping it's first 10+ years. I'm afraid there is no place to go from this point but down. Will the newer and future characters be able to continue to carry the torch and keep the Marvel flame burning bright or will it slowly start to fade away? I think the whole Avengers storyline is what made it so successful and I will be curious if they try and recreate that again (I'd love to see a Secret Wars/Beyonder storyline on the big screen).

About the only downside was someone decided to bring a kid around 4 years old to a 3 hour movie at 11:30 at night. Why are people inconsiderate like that? You know a kid that age isn't going to sit still for that long and keep quiet. Luckily the sound from the movie and the distance from the kid kept it from ruining the movie for us.

Might be able to stick with the MK series all the way thru, unlike the other Marvel series that I gave up on.

It had promise starting out but it seems to be going down an Eternals road. I guess it’s just one more episode.

I want to be able to mindlessly enjoy Marvel movies and shows. This one makes us think too hard. I still enjoy the performances.

Moon knight is more boring then anything else. It’s just yet another origin story. I want something in the MCU that feels like the good guys will actually lose. More infinity war stuff. Not the infinity war story, but a real struggle.

Welp… it appears from a teaser trailer I just saw that Professor X and captain Britain (Peggy Carter) are indeed in the Illuminati for Dr. Strange.

Props to Marvel for keeping this character's inclusion and casting a secret until now.

Major Multiverse of Madness spoiler:

Is that Jim from the Office as Mr. Fantastic? Suit seems a little tight.

Appreciate the use of the spoiler function in this thread. I've had to mute certain hashtags and words on Twitter to avoid spoilers for this movie. Got IMAX tickets for Thursday, hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

Moon Knight really became convoluted. Anyway the MCU has maybe too many characters now. Excited to See Dr Strange but not sure how they keep including more and more characters. I guess they have to put something on Disney +
How much screen time do you think Strange will have in his own movie? Just curious what people are expecting as to what i've heard.

I don’t see how Moon Knight fits into the rest of the MCU, but we’ll see. Apparently this other personality is a dick.

I did not care for moonknight. Thought it was just another typical origin story and was boring. Not sure he needed his own show quite yet. Too early to pull the trigger.

I was digging Moonknight up until that last episode.

Ammit was killed during a "Jake Lockley" blackout scene that we didnt get to see? Just lame writing.

Will have a brief MOM review tonight once I get home.

The whole ending just didn’t make sense. Trying to play it that Mark wasn’t the one who made the deal with Konshu is silly.

I liked it. Not as much horror as I was expecting from listening to non-spoiler reviews, but definitely different than anything we've seen before in the MCU. Thought it could've used another 20-30 minutes for a little more multiverse fun. 7/10.

Don’t forget spoiler tags this weekend for Dr Strange if you’re getting specific about anything.

The biggest reveal in MOM was the existence of Frankin Richard's in Reeds off hand comment to Wanda. As the fan boys know Franklin is THE big gun in the Marvel Comics. They will have to seriously nerf his powers down. Franklin makes Thanos with ALL the power stones seem like a child with a popgun.

As a child Franklin is hiding under his covers, creating a universe! As an adult evil Celestials invade and kill all the native Celestials, then Galactus! Franklin pops in, resurrects Galactus from the dead, then proceeds to kick names and take ***! Son, you got NO idea!

They announced that wakanda forever will be the last movie for phase 4 and phase 5 will start witH Ant-Man. Phase 6 will start with fantastic four and end with two movies, Avengers: The Kang dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. That will be the end of this new saga, The Multiverse Saga. Man… I’ve really been out of the movies and shows. Didn’t care for falcon and winter soldier, didn’t care for moonknight, didn’t watch Ms. Marvel or Thor. I think End Game was a good ending and not sure I care as much anymore.
