I think the OP's main point is that just because the media reported it doesn't make it true. I will never forget an article from the Huffington Post talking about an innocent protestor being run over by a pickup truck. However, when I watched the video, which was included in the article, it was beyond clear that the protestor had tried to attack the truck driver and fell to the pavement in the process.

Of course, we all remember Jerry Tipton doing a story about Patrick Paterson driving his pickup truck away from a game at Rupp. Only problem was that the truck was in West Virginia at the time. Apparently, he made up that part of the story.

The biggest mistake Pope made last season was going all in on a dude that was coming off major knee surgery. Uh, here’s the 3 reasons that wasn’t smart.

1. He might not even recover in time to help.

2. if he does recover in time, and the plays, but sucks, he’ll shut it down and claim his knee is bothering him.

3. If he does play, and is really good, his agent might convince him to shut it down because he has nothing else to prove.

Don’t forget letting the backup pg bail before the season started leaving us with no natural pg backup. A year after that bit us in the *** severely. At least we had Moreno as a fallback down low.
