But you believe the lies from the Main news media? So what should I say about you Op2?

I didn't say I believe it, I was just acknowledging it's a big war of BS and that DJT is the one that ramped it up. I don't pay much attention to the details because so much of it is BS.

From the legal side and the truth side it was settled before Obama ran for POTUS. But of course, anyone is free to disbelieve anything. I can believe man didn't walk on the Moon if I want but it has still long been settled.

Obama refused to release his birth certificate. He made that decision. He finally did in 2011. Why he waited so long was purely political. He wanted it as an issue.

His legal birth certificate was available for viewing in Hawaii. As I recall he wasn't permitted to release that. He had a different form that was not the legal version and that's what he eventually released. Did he not release it because he knew he could score political points by people acting ridiculous about him not releasing a version that carried now legal weight anyway? I don't know. Maybe.

Op2 how would you know what's "settled" if you're so willing to believe outright lies to justify more lying?

You're redefining moral relativism my Man.

Moral Relativism (or Ethical Relativism) is the position that moral or ethical propositions do not reflect objective and/or universal moral truths, but instead make claims relative to social, cultural, historical or personal circumstances.

OK...I thought you were saying Trump deserved the lies they were telling about him because he's a liar himself. So two admitted liars deserve each other...that's your position right Op2?

I'm saying that there was one reality in the way the media operated and Trump came along and changed that and now there is a different reality.

OK, so Trump lied to them, now they're justified lying about him do I have that correct Op2?

I've said it as clearly as I can say it. Read it again.

I'm trying to understand what you're saying Op2? If I hear you correctly, since Trump started out the "lying" the Media is now justified to turn the tables on him and lie about him, correct me if I'm wrong?

I'm saying that there was one reality in the way the media operated and Trump came along and changed that and now there is a different reality and that's the reality Trump has to deal with, namely the one he created. It's not a matter of whether it's justified or not.

All right. Now following your logic, what was the "neutral" reality or starting point that Trump interrupted with the Media, and how did he destroy that? When were they treating him fairly and objectively and how did he mess that relationship up?

What was the first shot he fired across the bow at them? What was his 1st "lie" to them to justify their blatant dishonesty about him now?

Give me chapter and verse Op2... since you're making the assertion. Now back it up.

Link me if you have to. Or just explain how this is all Trump's fault?

How did he start the 'War of lies' with the main stream news Media?

Sorry, I'm not going to give you chapter and verse, I don't have time for that and even if I did it's kind of a waste of time. The bottom line is that Trump is a BSer over and above the ordinary politician level and in addition he doesn't hesitate to call people (the media included) liars if they say something he doesn't like. And he has gone after the media very hard in that respect.

Op2 I only ask this because YOU made the charge. It should be easy for you to point to its origin.(especially if Trump started it, which is your assertion)

If you won't (or don't) it's because you can't, and you can't because your charge is bogus and you know it.

Okay, I can't because my charge is bogus and I know it. Good enough for you? It's bad enough that I'm wasting time talking about Trump in the first place, much less all the gory details.

You've been on here posting for that past hour or so making the claim that Trump deserves all of the negative and dishonest Media reporting he's been receiving since he became President and now you don't have time to prove your charge that it's all his fault?

You're defending liars and you're not even that good at it Op2.

Let me help you out. During the primary, the media loved Trump. He hurt all other GOP candidates, he was entertaining, ratings were good. It accomplished all the media's objectives.

Then, shockingly, he won. Now the general election starts. The media behavior toward Trump changes 100%. They go very, very negative. 91% of their Trump stories were negative. Trump did not change a thing. The media changed. Why? They wanted Trump to win the primary knowing he had no chance in the general. They got ratings and great entertainment. But, they desperately wanted Hillary to win the general election and it all changed. Trump didn't change, the media did.

Op2, you defended the Media's attacks on Trump as being of his own cause. Want me to repost it?

Now it's just an "ugly reality" for you that you'd rather not be bothered with?

Why did you initially defend the Media's dishonesty against him then? You should have just said "I don't give Damn, I hate Trump, serves him right".

I'd be more willing to believe THAT than the pablum you're trying to serve up now my friend.

By that reasoning the media ought to prefer Trump over Hilary because he gets better ratings than Hilary.

This sounds more like the actual chronology, despite Op2's claims to the contrary.

Op2, you said Trump upset the "balance" they had for him. Why can't you stand by what you initially tried to defend? Your assertion is that Trump started the dishonesty, disrespect, and lying he now receives from the Media. Pax pointed out how they were fawning all over him until Hillary.

Then they changed their tune towards him. How is that scenario PAX laid out wrong? When did Trump upset the Media's apple cart?

You simply can't make that charge to justify their blatant bias against him without being able to support why he caused it?

You're simply not being intellectually honest.

No, the media is by and large ideologically driven. They adored Obama. They loved Hillary. How do you go from a primary campaign which positively featured Trump to a general election that features him so negatively? It's called media corruption.

He regularly trashed his republican rivals, exaggerated, called them names, lied and crickets from the MSM. But then, he won and it all changed.

had made similar comments when Obama lied through his teeth to sell Obamacare, then they would have more credibility. They never called him a liar even though he and they both knew he was lying.
Definitely not an expert but I think that some of the Obamacare "lies" were related to them stating some best case numbers that were based on a full rollout (maybe it is by now) of the plan that would take many years and based upon optimal participation conditions and maybe other considerations so when reality failed to live up to predictions in some cases then the admin was accused of lying by yourself and others. I don't consider those "lies" to compare to some of the pure fabrication that Trump has uttered in just his first two months.

Like your doctor keep you doctor?
Like your plan, keep your plan?
Like you hospital, keep your hospital?
Save $2,500 per year per family?

Come on. He knew these were lies. Everyone knew these were lies. How are you going to cover everyone, cover pre-existing conditions, lower prices and get to keep everything you wanted?

I was born at night, but not last night.

Even NBC News got it right, claiming Obama knew and still lied.

Moe, can you please explain this then if your claim that Obama wasn't outright lying about the ACA is true?

It's amazing the lengths libs go to to justify lies by their own guys. They are quick to throw around Trump lies (which have not been about anything important like a person's healthcare or dying in Benghazi) but only give excuses or simply don't acknowledge lies by the guys they like.
