It would be difficult to find a better ambassador for MSU than Megan. She is very impressive in interviews and is a definite asset to the program, the City of Starkville and to the entire University. Everything she says is very positive and upbeat and she is always extremely complementary of Starkville and the people. When it comes to how long Dan stays around, I don't believe she will ever be the one pushing to leave. If Bounds archives his shows/interviews, it would be worth checking out.

if you are a state fan. She sounds just like Dan. She spoke of how MSU's game day atmosphere was very electric and the 'best in the country'.....even compared it to ' the school we were at previously'.......

don't know if she got it from dan, or dan got it from her, but she plays the role perfectly......I bet fans of other schools listening this morning were like most of america after hearing dan's comments at sec media days....

i loved it.

the link doesn't work. Sorry. Would like to hear it though. I know she's the one who pushed Starkville on him while Byrne was in yalks about the job. If i'm not mistaken she did something w/ the Golf Channel & her specialty was public speaking.

I remember somewhere that she was a reporter on the golf channel. Before I posted to that affect I went to the interwebs and google to see if I was correct.

Honestly, I did not bother reading past the pat where she talks about the first time Dan asked her out but she was offered a job by CNN Sports Illustrated but turned it down to return to grad school. Later became the weekend sports anchor at some station in Ohio. It was during this job that they share some story of Dan asking her out via email and Megan thinking it was too creepy and not responding.

Who knows, if I kept reading the article I may be correct in recalling that she was an anchor or reporter type for the Golf Channel at one point.

This occupation of her's would lead me to believe she is not only great in front of the camera/microphone, but also capable of assisting her hubby in what works, looks, and sounds good when in that position. Additionally, I would like to think she has a phone contact list of some people that she can call for assistance when she so desires.
