Wow! If I was Silverfield I'd never forget that and it wouldn't hurt my feelings to take a different job later on.
I'm actually pretty intrigued to see how he'll do there. His success at Memphis was pretty damn surprising to me.

Well, the funding for Arkansas football has been underwhelming, so why hire a mediocre guy who does less with more ? Don’t they need a good coach who can do more with less ? He had a big funding, talent edge at Memphis and went 4-4. That’s not worthy of an sec job
In his four years at Memphis, Mike Norvell won a conference championship, played in the conference championship game two other times and had a 24-8 conference record. Silverfield took over and in his six seasons at Memphis, has never played in a conference championship game and has a 27-21 conference record. Not impressed.
