Just shows that The Mississippi State University has long been the island ....

...of tolerance and intelligence in an ocean of ignorance. One story was that Loyola normally would run it up on all-white teams to let them know that segregation was wrong. However, because The Mississippi State University successfully slipped out of Our State with the Ole Miss-led racists and segregationists trying to keep them from playing.

Yeah, but all this stuff is getting a little old. I'm tired of hearing about how bad we used to be. We all realize that it's a new day.

I was in school when they snuck out but this is something that I never heard.....sounds like BS that was made up long after the game.

Although I'm a proud 8th generation Mississippian and proud of how far we've come. We're still years, if not decades, behind other parts of America as far as tolerance goes. There's plenty of racism floating around the small towns in our state.

As far as being a Bulldog. You can't promote this kind of stuff enough. It's a huge point in our history.
Hope it's a 30 for 30 on ESPN.

Glad to see a video like this. The only attention this state seems to gets regarding colleges and the civil rights movement is tsun blocking it.

Forget 30 for 30 - it needs to be a movie.
