Alex transfered to Creighton (likely to get more PT) and his minutes went down, below 10 per game. He averaged 3.4 ppg (5.2 his last year at Duke) and shot 38% from the field. Creighton was 22-9 (his last year at Duke we were 25-6), so it's not like he didn't play because Creighton was so good. I can't put this one on the coaches.

No I don’t either. I think Alex wanted to be more then a shooter when overall it was his strongest point on a basketball court.

Don’t worry, the tired old OAD approach teams at Memphis and UK will fail again. The players will realize they can’t afford an injury, play one on one to impress scouts, not play good enough defense and someone will knock them off that is loaded with 22+ yr old players,
But the media can hype it a la the Zion class, but at the end will take a miracle to win it all. But it “Could” happen,
