Walmart at I40 and Whitten rd was looted. Jewelry counter smashed. Lots of damage done this afternoon. That’s why the other Walmart’s closed. I was passed by 12 state troopers in SUV’s headed into the city on I-40W tonight. They were traveling at 90+ mph. I’m guessing they were headed somewhere to try and keep the interstates open.

Are the Walmart’s in you guys’ area not already closing at 8 like they are up here? Thought it was a company wide thing.

Where did you hear this about Walmart? I haven't seen anything on local news and most of the protests have been downtown.

Edit to add: so far the protests have been relatively peaceful and there have been no reports of looting

The Bartlett Walmart closed early. It was not looted. Please stop spreading misinformation.
