if we had beaten all the weak teams. We would have had 24 wins and made the tourney with no problem, even with a mediocre RPI.

But IF you're going to lose some early games, then they need to be against good teams. Heck, it seems we play down to our competition anyway, so we probably have just as good a chance to beat the better opponents.

and they dont help you face some adversity that every teams needs like better teams do

Losing to those teams is inexcusable, but you have to have a stronger schedule if you want to compete in March

I've heard that State and Tulane are in talks to schedule a game that would finalize our schedule. The game would be played Nov. 11 or 12 in Starkville with the possibility of a return trip to play in New Orleans Arena in 2012.
