Meechie's cousin, 4* PG committed last night.

Not a fan of having Meechie back on the team after he portaled out, but I guess as a coach you have to play the long game. No doubt, taking Meechie back played a part in us landing Marcus.

Then he transferred to move away from home.
It didn't work out for him. He tried Ohio State twice. So, you know that is where he wanted to be. They didn't play him either time. It happens. We are the program that appreciates his talents and gives him a chance to play. He is back to where he is supposed to be.

In the words of George McFly: we are his density.

How many years do these guys get to play now? I'm seeing 6th and 7th year seniors.

LOL... you don't even know why he left. It was deeper than just hopping ship for NIL(which wasn't the case), but keep being that guy...

Let's be honest, he wasn't good enough get playing time at Ohio State. They reason they didn't play him wasn't because they didn't appreciate him.

If you're not going pro and you're not on a team with a chance to win anything, why not go where you can actually play the game you love? I hope Meechie applies for a 7th year, 8th year and 9th year of eligibility. Just like Pavia.

....but he is good enough to play for us and that is all that matters (at least when it comes to our team). In this case, the portal is a good thing. The player is not the bad guy all the time. Coaches don't always tell the truth. They make big promises and sometimes don't follow through. If he wasn't good enough to play at Ohio State, fine. Let the kid go somewhere where they think he can help. Ohio State is not that good in basketball BTW.

Ellis brothers and MJ. Wow, should be an attractive place for a big portal piece. Fans need to be patient with Lamont.
