Meo's antics at the game are making me feel embarassed for her...

I love the hell out of the enthusiasm, but quite frankly she looks like an idiot running up and down the sidelines waving her hands in the air. It's pathetic that she has to do it, or feels the need to, but I just think she looks ridiculous.

it is more embarassing that we have so many people, probably most people on this board, who quickly mention that they see her running up and down waving her hands and acting crazy. this is because there is no one blocking the view of Meo since most are seated nearly the entire basketball game.

just sayin

makes a bunch of money. She's got a nice house by a lake. I doubt she gives a **** what BCash on the sixpack thinks of her "antics."

It is sad State's fanbase is so lame that she has to be a cheerleader. Maybe, she should just get a Reed's tshirt, northface jacket and make fun of others embarassing themselves by cheering.....She would blend in for sure.

How many coaches wives have you ever seen get that into it? If an eighth of our fanbase had that kind of enthusiasm it would be nuts.
Not that the hump wasn't ROCKING wed. night.

And I'm not joking. Wins are #1 and I don't care how Stans or his wife/kids act other than that but I think it's awesome that they are both so into the school.. Meo wants to win games more than any other person in the gym, even the players. She's great to talk with, if you have ever even been close to Meo I can promise that she made an effort to talk to you. Sorry if it embarrasses you..

sort of like the "recruits read these boards" nonsense, I doubt Meo cries herself to sleep out at Browning Creek over our feelings.

Personally, I think it's great.</p>

her husband the way she does, as opposed to making an "International Altercation" out of her husbands inability to get his noodle up.

during the game she wouldn't have to work so damn hard. It's bad enough that our student section sucks balls, but then when you look in the lower level and have all these old donors that don't give a **** and just sit there it pisses you off.

I love her enthusiasm, and it's pathetic that she has to do it in the first place, but i just feel embarassed for her. Probably because 90% of the old bastards that she is trying to get to stand up just stare back at her like deer. On another topic, why can't so many of our fanbase, especially students, seem to where a white or maroon shirt to games? Its not that hard.

I see nothing wrong with what she is doing. Of course we had people on here talking about how embarrassing it would be for fans to hold up signs with the recruits names on them during these big recruiting weekends, only to here recruits in the interviews talk about how cool it was to see their names on these signs. Forgive me for not taking the sixpack opinion on what is "cool" and what isn't

This is almost as bad as those stupid breast cancer awareness helmeNts that we used for charity. emabarrassing.

Bingo, That has always blown my mind, how can you consider yourself a real fan if you cant even where your team colors.

Our fans suck because they don't stand up and yell and Meo sucks because she does stand up and yell. Well I guess we just all suck.

If my wife was making around a million/year or whatever it is that Stansbury makes, I would yell for the team till I wished my voice sounded as good as Stanbury's

Not only that, you bitchers and ole blue hairs would be in a world of hurt cause I would buy one of those electric cattle prods and you WOULD be out of your chair and yelling when I came by. One way or the other.

It's the old codgers and their bags who complain about people standing that piss me off. I will take Meo any day over the lame "fans" who sit with their arms crossed and instead of yelling for their team are yelling at someone to sit down.

I like the enthusiasm she shows. I also like the whole family there by the bench- seems like a good stabilizer to me.

Thinking back to the Rick's Rowdies complaint (that they don't do squat) someone had earlier. Someone needs to make an "unofficial" Meo group for fun.

to build a bigger lead over the other team,Rick won't have to yell so much so hopefully his vocal chords will heal someday. He's probably been calling her EO for the last few years cause he can't get the M out.

bench, and even ride on Stans' shoulders to try and keep him in the box, if necessary. It's that big of a deal...enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. She could even do it topless for all I care, although I know no one would care about that anyway.

I have not been a regular at games, but during my day (02-04), I recall her being there, and being "into" the game, but not going nuts, as it appears she is now.

What changed?

Corollary: this appears to be the inverse of the average fan, who may be a "mega-fan" as a student/young alumni, and then ease into being more passive at games.

I don't know why I'm finding it hard to believe you guys are complaining about the coach's wife. I guess I should expect such lame-assed pettiness from this board.

Hell, I'm glad someone has decided to live their life with passion and be excited about something rather than being the wet blankets that most of you guys are.

Go Meo. I hope she yells and screams a little more just to piss you pansies off. What has this world come to when a "fan" cannot be "fanatical"?

Geez, I swear some of you are either flaming faggots or at least latent homosexuals. Whining about uniforms, criticizing other men's looks, criticizing sports that you've obviously never played, criticizing coaches and players who have forgotten more about the sport than you'll ever know. Whine, whine, whine. *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, ***** ... and more bitching. Pathetic.

smh

was'nt able to perform well enough in bed, then I'd be worried. Hell, let her go crazy, she just wants her husband to keep his job so she & the little Rickys can keep living on the lake & be on TV in Bryan hotdog commercials.

The Rowdies aren't doing much. Hell half the student body used to have a Rowdy T-shirt, but they have mostly gone lame the last year or two? What happened to the Leadership?

there were 3 times wed. when I just felt like I could not "go" during LSU's possesions after we failed to score on our end - I was spent physically and mentally (and I consider myself to be in pretty good shape).

point is that as I was beginning to curl myself up in the fetal position on the stairs of the hump, I looked across the way to see Meo doing jumping jacks and screaming at the top of her lungs - she inspired me to dig deeper. I embellish a bit, but there were times when the crowd may have gotten in their seats, but watching Meo makes you stay up - she is a difference maker.

Go Meo - you freakshow, we love you!
