...What is the purpose of copying someone's entire post and putting it in quote boxes in your response. I have always understood that the quote feature was to highlight a particular piece of text that you wanted to emphasize or particularly reply to.
Why do it for the whole post? It's annoying especially if it's a long post to have to scroll down past it several times in a thread.
