Nashville. Actually a pretty good guy overall but a hard core Vandy baseball fan. Also met a SEC baseball umpire in same setting and we got to talking about SEC coaches and he brought up the fact that Cohen and O Sullivan were the two worst as far as giving the umps a hard time. Thought Cohen was a good coach but definitely didn't like his attitude towards the umps and the stares and snide comments he would make from dugout towards the crew. Rated us, LSU and AnM as best atmospheres for SEC baseball.
This guy umpired the Ok State regional and said a normal SEC wkend was a much more big time atmosphere than that regional.
Spoke VERY HIGHLY of R Mitchell and his movement of pitches, especially vs aggressive hitters.
Thought his best spot in rotation was coming in as a middle reliever vs being a Saturday starter.
