He's got a lot of natural talent. He has a nice looking shot. He’s got great size and decent athleticism for a SF.
Sure, he was lazy and played no defense under Woodson, but what incentive did he have to succeed for that shambles of a program? I actually think that under the right coach, with the right motivation he'd be a star. He was the 9th rated prospect overall coming out of high school in 2023...

SF’s seem to be the hardest position to find in college for some reason….the available pool isn’t very deep
This guy was one of the biggest frauds in HS recruiting. When he committed to Duke he vaulted to #1 in Country discussion and then those of us who posted in the Recruiting Thread would repeatedly point out he literally couldn't make shots and when he rejoined NJ Scholars team (we followed due to Wagner/Bradshaw) they got worse. He doesn't defend. He's stiff athletically. He can't dribble/pass. he's a stand still shooter who is living off the fact that at one point CBB media--specifically on the East Coast hyped him as if he was the next coming.

Just because our staff reaches out, doesn’t mean that there is interest. They may be casting a wide net and looking to have backup options for backup options. A conversation never hurts and doesn’t necessarily mean the kid is out 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd best option.
Who reported it? Doesn’t seem like the type of player the staff want but having said that it’s the type of player that would look good surrounded by shooters and in the Pope offense.

I agree, I’ve watched him play 60 college games now and he does nothing to win IMO. Everything you say about him is true and Indiana fans literally were happy when Anthony Leal was In the game over him. They played better.

IIRC, we looked at him last year too. He had some off-court issues… maybe a domestic violence charge or something? Bet he winds up at KU.

How could she say he assaulted her if she didn’t even know and had to find out they had sexual relations months later? I don’t know, this doesn’t sound right to me. Ha. Thanks for your opinion on these guys Ralph. I really do appreciate your input a lot buddy. I personally think he could help a team if he will commit to defense and being a team first guy. Of course he’s had time to show that, but Sometimes it takes a kid becoming a senior and looking at the end to actually turn a corner. Anyway, thanks again.
I’m not saying we should or shouldn’t recruit Issacs as I’ve never heard him mentioned with us. That case was dismissed eventually by the parents of the alleged victim, he also was found not responsible by an Independent Title IX pane. Both the Bahamas and Texas refused criminal charges so they must have had nothing on him or else it was to get money maybe from him.

The issue with Isaacs is beyond this incident. There's always something with him and his family. The crew around this guy would be a magnet for negative attention for the University and the program. If they are in "DGAF" mode....then by all means enjoy. There are several less controversial and risky options for a program like Kentucky to pursue in the Portal.
How about we do Garrison at the five, E Freeman at the four, Wilkerson at the three, Oweh at the two and Dent at the one?
