Only thing that stuck out to me in the 6A football groupings was splitting up Starkville and Columbus. Seems like Greenville-Weston would be a better fit in with District 1 rather than Columbus.... geographically.

Greenville really isn't a good fit with anyone geographically since it's the only Delta school in Class 6A. They're just slightly closer to Jackson than they are to Desoto County. (Columbus is a good fit with some schools but since there are five 6A schools in Desoto County (and of course South Panola), there are some unlucky teams that have to travel to northwest Mississippi three times during the season).

No matter how you split it up, Greenville, Columbus, & Starkville are going to rack up a lot of miles.

Yeah those long bus rides will suck. I could see Columbus losing a big time game because of long bus rides they will have to take the same day as the game****************************************
