Yet, they seemed to miss the ND DT Hinish planting a Miami player well out of bounds.
Amazing how a high school offense like this that has 3 plays (designed QB run, handoff to RB, and 3 yard out throw) manages to confuse this DC down the stretch.

On that last Miami run the guy gained eight yards forward progress stopped, ND players pushed him back and ref tries to spot the ball for a six yard gain.
Mario just not even trying to put pressure on ND and running it up the middle. Willing to bet this bites him in the butt and his FG kicker misses the game winner, it goes to OT, and they lose.
Miami's kicker was clutch--didn't love the play calling there--gave ND a lot of time
Big kick, but still tons of time. Hate that last series. You get 1 more first down and you can bleed all the time
I'm not shocked. Very poor play calling by Miami. They took the ball away from their QB. Even with the FG. ND has been moving the ball on Miami's defense so ND might go down andbtiebtjis up or win it.
nd fails to win. That’s a shame.
Move ND up to #1. Far better loss than the one last year to NIU
If they beat A&M next week we can give them a playoff spot with the rest of that schedule
That carr lady is going to be uber annoying all season.
While I do dislike Miami, I absolutely loathe ND. Very happy tonight.
With their schedule, ND might not lose again in a repeat of their season last year.
Miami looked very good and overcame a tough stretch in the 2nd half.
Miami’s OC and DC both need to learn to emerge from their caves after getting a lead.

They were saying she lost a son to pediatric brain cancer so that is awful. Add the whole Lloyd Carr grandfather thing and son starting his first game for the beloved Fighting Irish and you get what you get which is her getting more air time than Marcus Freeman.
Funny how everyone decent seems to ”luck out” against PSU but the luck runs dry against others. Must be a coincidence!
I’m not going to comment on what personal hell she probably went through. I won’t wish that on anyone. Plus, I doubt she told anyone at the network to highlight the hell out of her.
But when the TV crew uses it to sell a story or try to justify why one team is more noble than another, they can screw off.
and I will add, if we insist on showing her when her kid makes the other team look bad, then show her when things aren’t going as well.
