Yes they were. The most laughable thing was how long it took for them to figure out that it was intentional grounding when Carr threw the ball forward with both hands and hit an offensive lineman while being sacked on ND’s last possession.

They didn’t get flagged for tacking too long. The guy got flagged for jumping in to tackle after he lost his helmet. Thats a 15 yard penalty in college

He was already in the scrum when his helmet came off. I would've liked to hear the tv ref's take on that penalty. It definitely seemed like the refs were trying to help ND get back into the game.

Watch the play. He jumps on pile at the end. Easy call with that rule. With that said nd held in secondary all game

I hate agreeing with knicks or defending ND but the refs made the right call there
He absolutely continued playing after the helmet came off--it has to be called.
