This is concerning, coach said “some medical things.”
So he can’t even be in the field with the team for a scrimmage he has to sit in the stands?? Something is just not right w this player, there always seems to be an issue. Hope he can become a contributor at some point, but worry if it hasn’t happened yet....
This NJ recruit came to Rutgers with high expectations.
At this point, I don't expect him to ever take the field at RU
Personal opinion
How Ash can't get Johnson and Bolds here shows his lack of pull too
I wasn't paying attention, Clue me in.I guess you were not paying attention to the issue he publicly admitted to months ago.
I'm not saying it's related to that because he was wearing a boot last week.
It's on Twitter if you follow him. Can't repost the Tweet.I wasn't paying attention, Clue me in.
Tim Wright. We really need to stop bringing in kids from the shore area. I know Holmdel isn't really the shore area, but it's close enough.
Our "biggest" shore conference recruits in NJ have amounted to nothing, Miles Shuler, Bo Melton, and now Micah Clark.

But as someone said above, he was wearing a boot, and that is a different issue.
Some issues are not worth an extended discussion, and it is just best to wish him the best and move on.
Tim Wright.
And while they did not play for RU, Quenton Nelson and Shilique Calhoun were such busts. LOL.
sounds like North Jersey partisan BS.We really need to stop bringing in kids from the shore area. I know Holmdel isn't really the shore area, but it's close enough.

Please elaborate the issue he had.I guess you were not paying attention to the issue he publicly admitted to months ago.

Neither of those kids can play, it's a moot point.
Not if you plan to make 'football' your 'life.' When ability doesn't ever meet desire, the end result is watching from the stands.Life is more important than football.

Of course it is, to YOU! But, for some the idea of playing a sport, any sport at a high level is the purpose of their life. If you don't have any abilities to do so, it is also understandable why life itself is undefined. You just live....I'm not gonna rehash it, but, it is more important than football.
It might be, but it's true. The best kids at RU have been the SJR and DBP kids. We need more of them. And there are a lot of them. Camp is the key here.sounds like North Jersey partisan BS.

3. Dixon, Washington and Robinson. We used to get a bunch of great players from FLA. FLA is tougher now that the UCF's of the world have kicked ***.RU got a lot of great players from all over NJ, NY and of course FLA
How many FLA kids on the roster now?

If I wasn't already concerned about the season, I was actually quite shocked when scrolling through the current roster that there are a lot of kids I never heard of. Must be a lot of walk-on's.If Greg were still the HC he would get talent there
These are grades from another school, so don't be silly to think a coach from another school can speed up that process.

More schools in Florida playing in better leagues now. Schiano was going against less schools
You have a thing for Manchester, do you? :Wink:Kevin Malast of Manchester was pretty good.
Kevin Malast of Manchester was pretty good.
My parents lived in Leisure Knoll. I know Manchester well.Knightshift, been here for almost twenty years now. A few years ago, I thought about moving back to South Carolina, but decided to stay. The town is in a unique spot—it is The Shore and it is the Pinelands. It is northern Southern New Jersey and southern Central New Jersey. I can be walking in forests in ten minutes due to all the preserved land or walking on the beach along the ocean in twenty minutes. Lots of places to kayak too.And after years of taking the wrong route to Piscataway, I now can get there for games in a pretty good time of about one hour and twenty minutes.
