Didn't the SEC make Mike Brown sit out the first 5 games that he was here even after the NCAA cleared him to play immediately? Was this due to him transferring from within the conference? I know that he redshirted his first season at Florida and rode the pine his next year before transferring, but it seems thatthe SEC is being pretty inconsistent in their rulings unless Brunettiwas cleared by the SEC since he transferred in from a different conference. I guess none of this really matters as long as Nix is the DC though.
