the draft order due to character issues. Oher's right... and not just about McShay. Other evaluators did as well. Most seem to just copy/paste/spew what the other guys said about someone. Guarantee you should Relf be mentioned for the draft, somebody mentions he has character issues b/c of his one instance of suspension over what would be 3yrs earlier. I think more analysts are just wrong on trying to predict what a NFL GM is thinking in terms of the draft, and then use some excuse as a fall back for dropping draft stock.

I would have to bet McShay recently said something, which I'm not sure why. He's always been a model player and, to my knowledge, has never gotten in trouble?

then I think his delay in response just goes to show that McShay was right...

For his one transgression. Granted it was stupid but the press just went rabid with it.

These guys really don't know half of what they say it's all just bits and pieces. An Atlanta radio station was having what sounded like a very in-depth discussion of Pernell McPhee and his stats from the DE position and how he could stand up and play some outside linebacker in a 3-4 or a down end in a 4-3. Good run stopper, not the best pass rusher etc... Except the whole time they kept calling him KJ Wright.

A Kansas City scout told me Dixon looked good but was worried about "Character issues." What a load. These guys don't really understand the psyche of the players.
