I doubt it. That would be tampering and a massive violation of Harbaugh's contract with the 49ers. They would have to wait till after the season

Can a college team tamper an nfl team? Petrino to arkansas comes to mind as a deal being in place

Cowturd had been saying the past two days that there was a done deal out there. But his comments leads one to believe it is not on the level of a Harbaugh hire. So, I doubt Harbaugh goes back on the college trail when he can demand over half the spots in the NFL.

All that I've read indicates he's very much a "recruit to his system" coach and coaching the kids up. Or is it presumed there would be no lag due to the talent pool michigan has access to (assuming that's even reality).

No doubt a great coach but would require a 5 yr commitment to guarantee results.
