My son is a grad student at U of M, so I have had this game marked on my calendar for a while. A 330pm game allows for some tailgating. Does anyone recommend a particular parking area? I saw one recommendation for a nearby high school. Plan on hitting the town Friday night and hope to run into a few RU guys.

Flying into and staying in Detroit on Thursday. Should be in Ann Arbor Friday mid day. Will not be tailgating and will be walking around Ann Arbor pre game. Anyone have a spot for RU fans to congregate? I usually don't enjoy the RU tailgates so I am skipping that this time around.

I am driving out Friday. I have a sister about an hour northeast of Ann Arbor whose daughter goes to U of M. She has season tickets and has arranged for us to have 3 parking spots. I have no idea where they are. Now that the game time has been set I think we will also be walking around the campus before rather than after the games. I heard the frat houses can be worth a look on game day.

Had this game circled for two years. One of my ticket-mates has a brother, who lives in NE Ohio and is a huge Michigan fan and comes to one game a year, typically, to hang with us and cheer for RU. However, when we joined the B1G, we agreed he'd always come for the UM game, as he did last year. I said I'd try to come to the UM games and had every intention of going this year, but work has reared its ugly head, so I can't leave before Friday night. That, combined with our putrid efforts the past few weeks, led me to decide to not go. I imagine if we were doing better, I'd've tried a lot harder to figure out a way to get there, but not now.

We are planning to park at the Golf Course at the Stadium and plan to tailgate.
Were you at the SMU game in Dallas in 2013 ? I think we had good Bloody Mary's with you and your wife.

God bless you guys, I wouldn't drive around the block to watch a Flood coached team in person anymore.
I hear you Zap, but when they announced RU in the B1G, I had an objective to go to as many away games as I could. The Big House is an absolute must, so I will be there! Got a parking pass at a lumber yard near the stadium. Going to Alumni tailgate. And hoping for a well played game.

That was us. LOL. We were also the ones who failed to bring jackets on that unseasonably cold day. I will check out the Golf Course for parking as well. Definitely bringing jackets this time around.

Heading into Ann Arbor Thursday. Made a personal commitment to make every game this year home and away. Michigan is last trip (West Point almost doesn't count as a road trip).

Fun to do this although the Wisconsin travel and the weather we experienced this weekend wasn't great. Have enjoyed it.

I know some on here look at this with disdain but supporting your team when they are down is a helluva lot more important that jumping on the bandwagon when things are going well.

Me and a friend are driving out early Friday morning while another friend is driving in from Chicago area. We'll be attending the RU Gameday tailgate run by the Alumni Association before the game. Looking for places to hang out Friday and Saturday nights if anyone knows where RU fans will be hanging out.

My son informed me that it's also Parent Weekend so it will be extra busy around campus and in town.

Flying in Thursday and leaving Monday. Gonna hang with the Screws a bit, head up to Sebewaing, over to Kalamazoo to see some friends I haven't seen in a while, and head on back to Jersey in plenty of time for the Nebraska game. You do know that Huskers is attending the RU-Nebby game with his son, right?

Driving out Thursday night and will be parked in an RV at Pioneer High School. Loyal Rutgers fans can look for the very large American flag & R flag and to join us. BTW there will be a very small M flag as I am traveling out there with my boss who is a M alum.

Even without factoring in the on field efforts, be prepared for the worst spectator experience of your lives (except for the fancy Screws who will be looking down on the surfs from a private box). The Big House is THE. WORST. STADIUM. in America.

Each "seat" is allocated about 8 1/4" lol

after witnessing the PSU debacle in person, I have no interest in getting stuffed into a 8 inch seat to see us be humiliated again. I'll wait until we have a competitive team to make that road trip

Flying in Wednesday with the family. Meeting up with college buddies Friday night and for tailgating. Can't wait to be back in Michigan Stadium! These games are hard - equal interest in both teams.

I went to Michigan a couple of years ago when they redid the stadium. I was surprised how small the stadium looked from the outside, but it was huge inside. The other surprise the game was sold out and for the amount of fans in the stadium it was really quiet.

. Don't worry. I will be wearing my Tiara as I wave to everyone from the Club Seats.

That's the equivalent of a Sniper Check in a combat zone...

Officers never want to be saluted outside of garrison because sniper's like to get their money's worth and would shoot the highest ranking person. lol

Really enjoyed my time in Madison last week, though the game and the game day weather left something to be desired.

Working from Ann Arbor and Chicago this week and I'll be at the game. Not really sure why at this point, but Ann Arbor is always a fun place to spend a week. Some real quality brewery options around the town. Jolly Pumpkin if you're into sours. Arbor brewing right in the downtown. And though it doesn't have the most inviting interior, Wolverine Brewing makes some really interesting beers (all Lager style, even the dark ones).
