Anyways anyone with me that if OSU wins and Penn St wins the Big 10 championship game that the B1G has a good chance for 2 in the playoff?
And the LOL Bowl is tomorrow too, right?

Im a Big 10 fan and fan of where my Raiders go...so I like the Buckeyes. No current Raiders on Michigan so.......Go Michigan. I can't stand the Buckeyes mainly because of the crazy fans here in Columbus.
I think if OSU wins it they are in. PSU winning the B10 would have to be compared to Washington and _ichigan for the 4th spot assuming Clemson wins the ACC.
That being said, I think Wisky beats the Nits in the B1GCG.
Bones, it will depend upon who wins the B1G title game. I believe the only way PSU or Wisc gets in the final 4 is by being champs.Definitely would be for that final spot and I think PSU has a better chance than Wisky making it due to the win over OSU.
This is such a great football debate and one i've had extensive arguments about.
I think a lot of people get lost in conference play and what it means. To me, winning your conference is just that: a conference title. Each conference decides how its champs are chosen: is there a title game; is the schedule balanced; what are the tie breakers; do only conference games decide it: do out of conference games decide...etc etc.
Based on the above, it seems to me that being a conference champion should have no bearing on who plays in the NCAA final four.
I think if Ohio State wins, they should be in.
I think if Penn State wins, we have to wait in see how things play out. As of right now, if everything holds true and Penn State and Ohio State win out, as does Washington, I think you have to go with Washington.
Good God though. Could you imagine how pissed you are if you are on the Penn State team in that situation.

Or, what if PSU loses to Mich State, OSU beats Michigan in a tight battle, then OSU wins B1G title game.Indeed. My post is more about the possibility of the B1G getting two in. I think if Wisky wins then they have an excuse to exclude them and thus I think the committee does. That decision is a little more difficult with PSU considering they won the conference AND beat OSU.
I dont think they do. I think the loser of OSU/Mich is out for sure. Had they both been undefeated I think there would be a good chance for both which is also what I was hoping for a few short weeks ago.Or, what if PSU loses to Mich State, OSU beats Michigan in a tight battle, then OSU wins B1G title game.
Do they take OSU and a two loss Michigan?

Michigan State lost to the Illini. I cant entertain theories that require them winning.

Just that he's been putting in work in the weight room. He's a student of the game so I assume he's doing what it takes in that area. OSU is a tough place though. I hope we do see him on the field next year, but they stack 4 star players.Bones...have you heard anything about Tuf? I have heard a few positives about work ethic and desire.
From the games I saw, admittedly with the bias of being a Hawkeye fan and seeing more of their games, I am surprised to say that I think PSU is better than Michigan and Wisconsin, and moreover I would be very shocked if MSU beats them tomorrow, but we will see. Anything can happen this time of year I guess.
But look at how MSU handled Rutgers. Yeah, just kidding.Michigan State lost to the Illini. I cant entertain theories that require them winning.
Only one B1G team in the final four.
Washington just crushed Washington State
Pac 12 title game will be Washington vs either Colorado or USC depending on what happens tomorrow.
Colorado in the top 10 - but I think it would be better for Washington to play USC again. IF UW wins the rematch - easier for the committee to slot UW as the 4th team for a shot at Alabama.
USC would beat Washington again in the rematch.
Regardless if Washington played Alabama in playoffs, Alabama would take them to the woodshed. I don't see anyone beating Bama except possibly OSU.
I think you are right on all accounts. However, my USC opinion is based mostly on what people are telling me.

I don't need my bubble burst.
I prefer to live in the bubble that says Washington has a chance to beat the mighty Bama. But unfortunately I agree with you. I don't think Anyone close to Bama. Outside shot would be a team that has a dynamic QB that is dual threat.... a team like that might be able to beat them. That is not UW. Maybe OSU or Clemson.
I now return to my bubble where UW kicks *** and will beat USC in the rematch and give Bama a game.
Oh, trust me it's not a matter of who's smarter...myself or MWittman. Because it is you who is smartest here. You are our leader...the head honcho...the straw who stirs the drink. When you post, we all seek knowledge. When you speak, we gather. Without you, we are an Island of Lost Souls. Are you smarter than MW? Where do you rank me? Does it help that without researching, I know the correct stress in Mirakle?
