Mid-week baseball with this team just not making sense

Have to blame it on lack of pitching depth. :unsure: Somebody needs to step up and help this team on the mound.
I'm on board with the injury excuse for pitching, this year only. I hope our freshman pitchers work out for the better. Looking to see what he recruits for next year.

However, the clutch hitting just isn't cutting it. Big, long swings etc. His initial philosophy didn't work, it doesn't seem his change in that philosophy works either.

Believe me I'm not making any excuses for anyone, but keep in mind for smaller programs i.e. Presbyterian, when they have a midweek game against a bigger name opponent they like to bring out their "ace". Not saying this applies to every single instance, but somewhat a common practice.
(Then again, losing to opponents such as this should never become a common occurrence)
