it's because MTSU is really good, but don't worry because Memphis will get better every week and win 6 games.

Now that the hopes of being 3-0 after Vandy have changed to reality, it's possible you could be 1-6 after MTSU.

is not the same thing as many people believing it would happen. I certainly had hopes that Auburn would not be very good and we could win. I know understand how bad our team is. I still think 2-1 is a possibility, simply because we'll be playing Vandy. I also think it's possible that the Rebels will win the SECW this year, but probably won't because they will lose to Bama.

CUSA is a joke as a whole. Memphis is a bad team. They're better than your average 1AA, but they're not a good 1A team.
Of course there were some. As many people there are on this board there were some that said we would be 3-0.
OM beat Memphis by 31. MTSU beat them by 17. So no, MTSU is not a top 10 team. And by the way, you should be giving Bama some **** today -- they were only up by 6 on FIU with 3 minutes left in the third. I guess Bama isn't a top 10 team either, right? Quite a few normal posters took 3-0 (bonedaddy, Mutt, Stansfield, etc). Many said 2-0 and Auburn was a tossup.
The realist here knew you guys are still lacking talent, but lots of posters convinced themselves that it was only Crooms coaching that was hurting you.
Realistically, it was his recruiting, coaching, and lack of development that hurt you guys.
I am more optimistic about your future than some of the posters I read last night. It's just going to take longer than those posters convinced themselves it would.
